Jar Of Dirt

"I've got a jar of dirt... I've got a jar of dirt and guess what's inside it." ~ Jack Sparrow

The Jar of Dirt was a trade that Jack Sparrow made with the Bayou witch Tia Dalma in Dead Man's Chest. In exchange for "help" with his nemesis, Davy Jones, Jack acquired this tool for "aid" in exchange for an "undead monkey." The jar of dirt created a safe-haven so that Jack could always be near land, thus keeping Davy Jones at bay.

This prop is very hit and miss, most pirates have luck purchasing similar jars from antique stores that deal with overseas items. Often times the jars are from Hungary. The most popular of these antique stores is Wholesale Antiques - more than likely you'd have to contact them directly for a list of their current inventory.
